The holidays can be very busy, but if you've got some time while you're toasting the season, and perhaps your toes, by the old yule log, why not hang out with me for a Celtic Christmas? We've got music from a lot of great Celtic artists and groups and in the second hour, there's a special treat: a reading by Dylan Thomas himself of his beautiful collection of Christmas memories called "A Child's Christmas in Wales." I always enjoy listening to this story on Christmas Eve, and this year, I thought I'd share it with you. In fact, I shared it last year as well, so I suppose it is beginning to become a holiday tradition.
So, whether you're wrapping presents for the kids or just having a quiet Christmas Eve with family or friends, or even if you're on your own, I hope you'll enjoy the way that Come by the Hills does Christmas! I'm on after Steve and The Early Years on Sunday, or if you're still in the holiday spirit later in the week, you can hear the show again on Friday morning at 4:00 AM eastern, 9:00 AM in the UK and Ireland. Thank you so much for listening and for making my little show a part of your routine, and I hope you have a very merry Christmas!
