I hope you're enjoying the Christmas Countdown and I hope the songs you voted for will be at the top of the chart. We'll know by the time The Early Years is on. It's an abbreviated show tonight to allow the countdown the time to complete. When it does, I have A Christmas Gift For you; a radio documentary about the making of what many rock musicologists consider to be the first complete rock and roll Christmas album, Phil Spector's My Christmas Gift For You. It's narrated by American author and music critic, Anthony DeCurtis.
You can contact me any time by e-mail at steve@mushroomfm.com with comments about the show, requests, particularly for Christmas music, and suggestions for future shows.
So when you've heard the #1 song on our annual Christmas Countdown, join me, Steve Cutway, on The Early Years, when I have A Christmas Gift For You, tonight at 7 PM, after the countdown and before sara, only on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys, making four decades of magic mushroom memories!
The best music from the 50s and 60s will return Wednesday morning at 7 AM for the first hour and be followed at 8 AM by a replay of A Christmas Gift For You.
