On the 21st of August, 19…well it’s more than my life’s worth to get more specific than that, Bonnie Mosen, who wasn’t called that then of course, was born. And thank goodness she was! That’s what I say!
Well the thing is, she was born in the United States, and now she lives here in New Zealand. Although Mushroom FM chooses US Eastern time as its official time zone, meaning that the Mosen Explosion for this week goes to air on the 20th, it’s the 21st here. And that means that, technically speaking, we’ve prematurely aged Bonnie by a day. The very thought of it!
Still, it means that we’ll be on the air on the morning of Bonnie’s birthday, and the Bonnie Bulletin should be particularly cool, especially since she’s been away for four days at a conference, leaving me home alone. Aw.
If, by chance, you’d like to wish Bonnie a happy birthday, you’re welcome to get in touch via the usual methods, except the listener phone line. That is still broken. I blame the US solar eclipse, that’s what I do.
There is a bumper edition of today in history this week, great music, and of course plenty of room for your interaction to steer the show whichever way you will.
So do join me for Bonnie’s big day, at 2 Pm Eastern, 7 PM UK, right after Steve, and before…Steve. Boy, he’s dedicated!
