Consider yourself cleared for entry into Paskell's Pop Vault here on Mushroom FM today from 12 pm Eastern, 9 AM Pacific and 5 PM GMT (London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Lisbon and more). This week, our pop path will take in the 60's, punk, modern folk rock with a little unblemished noughties' pure pop, so there's sure to be a discovery in the mix to delight you in our hour together.
That’s right, it’s almost 11 Pm Eastern on a Saturday night, 5 PM Sunday afternoon here in New Zealand, and 4 AM Sunday morning in the UK.
So the rusty old shed door will be creaking open with four fun filled music hours ahead.
I actually think the Shed needs a new door to be honest, It’s almost as if it’s hasn’t been open for two weeks.
Oh wait...
After the Kiwi special two weeks ago, the regular show returns, with the Triple Threat, and the Live and Loud segment, and of course your request.

Many of us have been glued to devices, radio and TV over this bleak weekend, as the horror from paris and its aftermath have unfolded. Maybe we took the time to hold those we love extra closely.
Many people outside of France have returned to some degree of normality, keeping an eye on developments. But for those who've lost loved ones, or who live in a frightened nation, the atrocities are not so easily put behind them.
We'll begin this week's show with a short tribute to those who were so cruelly massacred.
It’s a page turning Bonair this week—Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your fav music apps. We will play your requests, have a titillating topic to get you talking, and saunter into the Mosen kitchen for another delicacy from “Food for Thought.” But the big event this week, are highlights from the first Funguys book club chat. In the second hour, we will play selections from the lively, thought provoking discussion on John Green’s “The Fault in Our Stars” and announce this month’s book selection. Come join us: Don’t be shy!
Once again, we're back on your thing, no matter what that thing is and where that thing is located. It could be an iThing, a new Apple TV thing, a PC thing, but we're on that thing.
And the thing I hope you'll do with that thing on Sunday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, is join me for another edition of The Mosen Explosion.
Grab a cup of tea, coffee, or other relaxing beverage and join us for the first MushroomFM book club chat—this Saturday at noon EST. Bonnie Mosen will be your moderator, and we will be discussing “The Fault in Our Stars: by John Green. To participate in the discussion, visit mushroomfm.com/bookclub and follow the link to enter the room. If you're unable to make the discussion, but you'd like to share your views on the book, you can call the Book Club Feedback Line. It's a US number. 206-333-5717. At the end of the chat, the book club selection for November will be announced.
Many of our Mushroom FM fun guys have busy day jobs, and I remain deeply appreciative that they are part of our wonderful voluntary project.
Sometimes though, it's important to do a work/life balance check. After doing this, Bob Kanish has decided that his busy schedule doesn't permit continuing his show, The Depths, on Mushroom FM at the moment.
Whether you are the victor or the victim of the great global sporting events since last show, it is time to tune in to another heart racing edition of Bonair—Tuesday 9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EST on www.mushroomfm.com and in all your favourite music apps. We will review the exciting week in sports—with no excuses, win or lose, have another “Food for Thought” a last minute check of the book club, and of course, play your requests. No theme this week, so anything goes.
Hi everyone. After a pretty full-on weekend, You are warmly invited to kick back for the latest tour of Paskell's Pop Vault this afternoon from 12 PM Eastern, 5 PM GMT, only on The Home of the Fun Guys, Mushroom FM. This week we have an hour crammed full of live performances and alternative acoustic recordings from the likes of Sheryl Crow, Phil Collins, The Corrs and Wet Wet Wet. We'll also mark the release of the latest Bond film with an unusual remix of Tina Turner's “Golden Eye” soundtrack classic.
I hope you'll join me for another four hours where we just don't know what's going to happen, we don't know what little remark made by me or you will spark a lively discussion among our Mosen Explosion family via Twitter or email. We do know there'll be plenty of great music, wacky news, a look at history and a Bonnie Bulletin. But it's the back and forth, the unpredictability, that makes it all so much fun.
