SnowWhiteFM takes to the air tonight, for yet another amusing and entertaining evening of great music of the 60's and 70's, sprinkled in among the unpredictable antics of the Snowman. And tonight, Steve from Ohio drops in to add his own inimitable bit of color. Will talk radio, about Wolfman Jack, and we'll also sit back, scratch our collective heads, and wonder what the heck to say. And that, my friend, is when the unexpected happens.
All that, plus we'll have coffee with Ed, check out today in history, have a visit from the Chicken man

As my Apple Watch informs me, the days are getting longer and longer, and this coming week will be the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. This day has traditionally been called Midsummer's Day and has been a time of dancing, bonfires and general merry-making to honour the high-point of the growing season. We're going to celebrate this on Come by the Hills this week with a few songs about summer for your enjoyment. We'll have a summer-themed "Celtic Cover," another one of my "simple singles" in our feature called "Me Music," and a whole lot more.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.

This week on A Cuppa at the Mosens, we’d like to know what you think of blindfolding the sighted, or even the visually impaired.

Can blindfolding be a useful educational tool, heightening the empathy sighted people have for the challenges we face? Or, when suddenly deprived of a sense on which sighted people are so dependent, does blindfolding result in creating distorted pictures of what our daily lives are like.

When you hear the dying strains of Van Halen's Happy Trails signalling the end of The Mosen Explosion for another week, don't touch your PC, your mobile device or your internet radio and join me in The Early Years on Mushroom FM, the home of the fun guys.
Hello, I'm Steve Cutway. Variety is what The Early Years is all about as I present the best music from the 50s and 60s, not from just the rock era that is generally accepted to have started in 1955, but also from 1951 until then. It's music and memories to keep you entertained including a number of version comparisons.

Before I tell you about this week's show, I want to thank everyone who wrote or tweeted in about the Stan Rogers show I did last week. I heard some lovely stories about the man whom I was never able to see perform which only reinforced my high opinion of his music and his legacy for Canada and humanity in general. I managed to impress some pretty knowledgeable folkies with my Stan picks. That's a pretty tall order as I myself should know. It's hard to be a folky sometimes, because so many radio stations stick to a few well-known songs from any particular artist.

Another Sunday, Monday morning for me in New Zealand, and another chance to hang out with you for some great music and fun conversation on The Mosen Explosion. I can’t wait.

I consider myself quite fit these days, exercising as I do for 30 minutes each day. But I’m nowhere near as exercised as the franchise in Britain. And it looks like it may not be too long before the old franchise in Britain gets even more exercise. Golly!

This week, Saturday June 10, shapes up to be a great show.

• And, how the company you keep affects who you become.

That and so much more, this week, on the Snowman Radio.
Come check us out. SnowWhiteFM, Saturdays at 8PM eastern, right here, on Mushroom FM.
