From this Saturday at 2am Eastern, that’s 6pm Saturday in NZ, 4pm in Sydney and 7am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movie Father of the Bride from 1991.
Father of the Bride is a 1991 American comedy film starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams (in her film debut), George Newbern, Martin Short, B. D. Wong, and Kieran Culkin.
It is a remake of the 1950 film of the same name.

The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
The “Juke In The Back” features another highly underrated R&B vocal group from the 1950s: The Checkers.  They never scored a national hit, but they’re one of the finest examples of polished 1950s R&B and their story deserves to be shared.

Hello. Sara Hillis here again to let you know what's coming up tonight on the fabulously folky feast that is Come by the Hills! Join me live at 8:00 PM Eastern for three hours of songs about May, some Nova Scotia songs we didn't get to last week (including a comparison of three versions of The Ballad of Spring Hill for your perusal and pleasure,) and whatever else I feel like playing. Who knows? We may even throw in some Julie Andrews for the fun of it. It is May after all!

After you've enjoyed The Mosen Explosion this afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00 PM, stay tuned and join me in The Early Years where you'll enjoy the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
I will remember a sad event that happened 50 years ago this weekend, pay tribute to two musicians we've lost recently and finish my listener-suggested "songs about music" theme begun March 28.

It was a warm Sydney Saturday in 1974. We first kissed in her family's pool. Joan Armatrading was on the radio. I have never forgotten.

Music is the backdrop to many of our memories.

I'm Graeme Innes, and we'll share those memories on Deep Dive. We will listen to one artist for one hour. We'll talk about the artist, share our favourite songs, and our memories as well.

Tune in on Monday at 4 PM Eastern, 6 AM Tuesday in Australia. Or on Wednesday at 6 AM Eastern, 8 PM in Australia.

Hi everyone

On the show a couple of weeks ago, a few people expressed interest in my smoker and how it worked. Last weekend of course we wanted to honour ANZAC Day, and demonstrating a smoker didn't seem like an appropriate thing to do.
However, this week, I've ventured out the back and recorded a demo for you which I'll be featuring on the show.

As always there's a great selection of music, and lots of friendly chat, so I hope you'll join me from 4 PM Eastern that's 6 AM Saturday on the east coast of Australia, and 8 AM in New Zealand.

In this week's program we will discuss Dreams!
What are the things you dream about?
Also what are your favorite Dreaming Songs???

Get me your requests.
