Hello again! Sara Hillis here to share with you what's coming up on this week's exciting and fun edition of Come by the Hills. In the first hour, we've got songs about mothers in honour of Mother's Day here in North America, and later on, we've got some Mary Black, Leonard Cohen, Stan Rogers, The High Kings and much more! So why not hang out with us? Forget the Blue Jays and their double-header, or join it late. It'll still be there when we're done. *smile*
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis, tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Next week on Deep Dive we enjoy the talents of Blondie and hear amongst other things the origin of the name. We discover that the tide is high, find a heart of glass, and go atomic.
Join me at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Easton Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in eastern Australia. Just speak nicely to your smart speaker and ask it to play mushroom FM, and he will be there.
