Hello there! Sara Hillis here to tell you that I am still dealing with the craziness that is Covid, and I do not have the brain power or the bodily energy to attempt a live show this weekend. However, as luck would have it, I've had a request from a listener to replay the Stan Rogers episode we did in June, and I can't think of a better encore presentation to give you.
The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
Please note: the original scheduled Movies My Fair Lady and Dumbo will play next week instead.

From this Saturday at 12am Eastern, that’s 4pm Saturday in NZ, 2pm in Sydney and 5am in the UK, and repeated every four hours throughout the day, it’s the described movies Grease from 1978, Xanadu from 1980 and the Gruffalo from 2009.
Grease is a 1978 American musical romantic comedy film based on the 1971 musical of the same name by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.
It's Jonathan Mosen here to tell you about a special show coming up on Mushroom FM.
Olivia Newton-John's music was a significant part of the soundtrack of our lives in the 1970s and 1980s. Following her death at 73, I've put together a two-hour tribute to her. You'll learn a bit about her background, and we'll feature all her greatest hits, as well as some rare early recordings.
Join me at 2 AM Eastern on Tuesday, repeated at 2 PM on Tuesday, as we celebrate the memorable music of this remarkable woman.
This week on Deep Dive we celebrate the music of Judith Durham, who died last Friday. Inevitably the programme consists of music from The Seekers. We ask when will the good apples fall, sing about Georgie Girl, and go on a morning town ride.
Tune in at 4 PM Eastern Monday, which is 6 AM Tuesday in Eastern Australia. Or at 6 AM Eastern Wednesday, which is 8 PM in Eastern Australia. Just ask your SmartSpeaker to play Mushroom FM, and it will whisk you there in a trice.
As we know, it is an era of sickness, pestilence, high inflation, and soup. As a result, both Sara and Gary aren't able to be on the air today. Jonathan Mosen will be here from midnight to 4 AM, repeated from midday to 4 PM, with an extended edition of the Mosen Explosion.
The Juke In The Back” focuses on the “soul that came before rock n’ roll,” the records that inspired Elvis, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and countless others.
After you've enjoyed Come By The Hills with Sara Hillis (a replay of her April 2nd show due to COVID - get better soon), tomorrow afternoon from 02:00 to 05:00, don't touch that dial, device, PC, Mac or smart speaker and join me for The Early Years, where and when you'll hear the best music from Rock and Roll's Golden Age (its first quarter century) with an occasional nod to other decades and genres.
Hello hello! Sara Hillis here with sad news to report, I won't be doing a new episode of Come by the Hills this weekend. I have caught Covid somehow, and it's messing with my energy levels and my voice. So, I've pulled a show from our archives from April 2 of this year. I'll also keep you posted as to Sara Smiles as Monday gets closer.
I'm doing alright, but hour to hour it's hard to know how I'm going to feel just now. So, thanks for your indulgence, and I hope not to be away too long.
